Working Process

The MBBR system utilizes HDPE biofilm carriers that remain suspended and fluidized in the reactor via aeration. As wastewater passes through, microorganisms on the carrier biofilms efficiently remove organic pollutants, ammonia nitrogen, and other contaminants through simultaneous aerobic degradation and nitrification/denitrification. Featuring no clogging, simple operation, low energy consumption, and reusable media, MBBR is widely adopted for municipal sewage, industrial effluent (food processing, textile, petrochemical), and aquaculture water purification systems.
