Product Description

Sulfur autotrophic filter material is a special biological filter material, the main function is to remove pollutants in water through biological action. It utilizes the autotrophic metabolic characteristics of microorganisms to perform growth and metabolic activities with inorganic substances such as sulfide, hydrogen and carbon dioxide as energy and carbon sources without the need for external organic carbon sources. The main components of sulfur autotrophic filter material include sulfide, activated carbon, bentonite, etc., among which sulfide is the core component, providing the required sulfur source for microorganisms. Activated carbon and bentonite as the carrier, provide a surface for microorganisms to adhere to growth, and enhance the adsorption performance of the filter material.

Application

Sulfur autotrophic filter material has a wide range of applications and can be used to treat various types of water pollution, such as domestic sewage, industrial wastewater, aquaculture wastewater and so on.
