Product Description

Activated alumina is commonly known as bauxite, chemical formula for Al2O3.white powder, density 3.9 ~ 4.0g/cm3,melting point 2050ºC, boiling point 2980ºC.it is insoluble in water and can slowly dissolve in concentrated sulfuric acid.it can be used to refine the metal aluminum, and is also a raw material for making crucible,porcelain,refractory materials and artificial gems.
 

Application

Activated alumina used as adsorbent,catalyst and catalyst carrier is called "activated alumina",which has the characteristics of porosity,high dispersion and large surface deposition,etc.,and is widely used in petrochemical,fine chemical,biological and pharmaceutical fields.it can be used as a defluorination agent for high fluoride drinking water,a defluorination agent for circulating alkane in the production of alkyl benzene, a deacidifying and regenerating agent for transformer oil,and a gas drying agent for oxygen industry, textile industry,and electronic industry.
